Jacob is a paid media fundraising specialist. He has spent the last decade planning and running paid for marketing campaigns within the charity sector. Prior to moving into a consultancy he spent four years working as part of the digital acquisition team at Oxfam GB.
Jacob has delivered successful campaigns across the range of charity verticals, supporting diverse brands such as Pancreatic Cancer UK (PCUK), World Food Programme, Brain Tumour Charity, Greenpeace, International Rescue Committee and DKMS. He has worked on a range of digital fundraising appeals to UK, Europe and global markets, with a focus on single and regular donor acquisition. Jacob is also experienced at running Facebook challenge campaigns, having done dozens with PCUK and Prostate Cancer Research.
His experience includes planning and running paid acquisition campaigns across the full range of platforms, from social channels such as Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok to paid search activity across Google and Bing. Jacob started out in graph and front-end web, so can also get hands on with ad creative to optimise results. Jacob also has in-depth experience implementing complex tracking solutions using Google Tag Manager and other 3rd parties for tracking and tagging for end-to-end reporting.
